I’m going to a thing there tomorrow and I’ve heard good things but when I went to their website I saw that it was a chain and that always makes me a little skeptical.

Also, any recs while I’m there?

I've been to the one at Market Common in Myrtle Beach. It's not bad, but not great.

The couple times I’ve been to the one in NO, food was subpar & service was terrible.

Outside of the mandatory beers he has to make the brewer was given free reign to make other beers and he usually has a very nice IPA available

Food is what you would expect.

CITRA
This New England style IPA is our celebration of the Citra hop. Extremely hazy, juicy, and delicious.

Hops: Citra
Malt: Pilsner, Flaked Wheat

They make some absolutely killer German styles. That's a fact.

I haven’t been to a Gordon biersch in 15 years, but from what I remember, it’s pretty good for what it is (bar food), and it had that gastropub feel way before gastropubs were popular.

This

I wouldn't normally plan a meal for there, but I did eat there last year when I was in the area and wanted to watch a game. I had went into Mannings, but the bartenders were slow as all hell and pissed me off, so I went to GB.

I like their garlic fries. Everything else besides the beer is standard fare bar food. Nothing great.
