It has been years since I've eaten at slop-houses like GC or Ryan's....More so than the food, it's the type of people that go to these places that makes me not want to be there with them.

I love dropping in to the Ryan's in DS, makes me feel cultured, sophisticated and skinny.

We have not been to a Golden Corral since our 10th anniversary. Chocolate fountain was clogged up, endless tilapia ended, salad bar had French drizzled in the ranch container. We pretty much swore it off. Ryan's may not have as many options but their execution is much better.

I'm not judging brah but maybe the corral was a poor choice for your 10th anniversary regardless of the condition of the chocolate fountain

Wife and I had a similar experience on our 10th. They didn't have the freakin' cotton candy!

I waited tables at the Golden Corral on Sherwood back in the day. It was a pretty shitty job
