1Or are my tastes changing?
When I was younger I didn't use Crystal very often. The flavor was fine, but I didn't think it was hot enough. I preferred Louisiana Hot Sauce. And when Sriracha came along, I added that to my options.
But I'm finding that I really like Crystal lately. Has it changed, or have my tastes changed?

Sriracha changed paper vendors and it’s not as good as it used to be imo.

But I’ve found that crystal has gotten better over the years - maybe they stopped using NOLA faucet water

on 11/28/20 at 4:15 pm to L.A.Crystal my go to for LA hot sauces followed by Louisiana. Tabasco very rarely except for the Tabasco chipotle which is like water for many things. I run out more often than I buy.

However...
Texas Pete is a popular hot sauce brand here in Birmingham. I recently found their Cha! version of sriracha sauce and I like it a lot. Has a bit more sugar than I remember from the original, but it still brings the heat.

Crystal is the same to me. It's my fav.
If I don't use crystal I use this.
