IMO, Popeyes and Canes are better in terms of fried chicken (but CFA ain't bad). In terms of service, CFA sets the std among FF and it's not even close.
As Rummy noted, parents don't mind taking their children there because it's family friendly. And yes, their support of orthodox marriage appeals to many in a day of political correctness.
Also, CFA has great sweet tea and milkshakes.

It's ok, nothing special.
Better than Cane's in my opinion though.
People can't park, walk in and spend 5 minutes waiting at the counter? People are lazy.

Most people take the path of least resistance. For a family, unloading children, etc - maybe it's just easier to go through the drive-thru.

The actual food is pretty solid, although nothing mind blowing
The sauce selection is top notch though. Best in the biz imo. That's the main reason I go there from time to time. Several really good sauce varieties, and they always give me like 3-4 things of it, which is a lot better than I can saw for other fast food places
That and, as stated many times in this thread, the customer service is really good

Maybe, but I've passed by and seen people riding solo in their cars/trucks/SUVs and just sit there twiddling their thumbs.
In the time that they wait to get to the speakerbox thing, they could have gone in, ordered, and possibly had their food already.

No doubt - multiple times I've planned on going through a drive-thru but seeing the wait just parked and went inside. But not as easy to change course when there are children involved.

I agree, if I were juggling 3-4 kids in the back of a minivan, I might just wait it out in the drive-thru.
But I'm not, and when I do get CFA, which I haven't in some time, I usually just go inside.

The food is really good for fast food. And you can go from the back of that line to back on the road in a few minutes with their service.

I have loved their chicken sandwich since I was a kid.
However, there's no way I'd sit in that to get it. Park the car and go in and make a to go order.

I always get out. Id say 95% of the time I walk right up to the counter, order, turn around and get whatever condiments and stuff that i want, then the food is ready. probably less than 3 minutes. no way would I wait in that line.

This thread has me craving a spicy chicken biscuit

I'd rather have McNuggets or Sonic popcorn chicken over Chic Fil A nuggets
The only 'nuggets' I would eat would be from CFA. McDonald's

McNuggets close up

Chick fil a is what's right with America.
My kids love it as do I.
Leave it to some bitter people on this website to hate.
Typical.

West Monroe has 2 Chick-Fil_A's directly across the street from each other. Both stay packed...

I had a chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit this morning. Took me less than 2 minutes with four cars in front of me in the line. The chick at Airline and 220 drive through window just about throws your food at you in the morning she's moving so fast.
In other words great customer service is my main reason. Also, waffle fries dipped in chickfila sauce is awesome.

My kid loves it and it's better than Canes if you ask me if for no other reason than they have a few different items. I eat the chicken soup.
my kids don't have any taste either.
I'm not impressed with their food and I dont care how nice they are, I'll wait for popeyes
I also like the Chicken Shack on plank, they don't care about gheys or service, they just make the best fried chicken around.

I think this is the reason I stopped going. Eating from anything from there with this is like eating two meals
