Is Casamentos in New Orleans closed?

Went to see their hours on google and it says they're temporarily closed. I checked this a few weeks ago to potentially take my parents there and it seemed open. Did something happen?

They close for the summer every year for like 3 or 4 months

It's closed. The refuse to serve oysters during the "bad" months.

My uncle died about 10 years ago. Casamentos was one of his favorite restaurants in the city. Once I got into the rat race, I used to meet him up there for lunch every so often. It seemed like everyone in the place knew him (he was "somewhat" of a local celebrity).
It's places like this that keeps me from completely swearing off that rat-infested sh!thole of a city run by incompetent and corrupt filth.

Used to be my favorite restaurant as a kid.
They are steadfast in their ways there. It was cash only for a long time, and may still be.
There are probably entire continents without a restaurant as good as Casamento's.

The top of their web site says closed for the summer, will reopen in September.
Seems clear?????
