Cajunland is part of my recipe. It's solid on its own though.

Same. I also love to season my chicken wing batter with it and two other spices. Always a huge hit.

I tried out cajunland due to some recommendations from this board. I was disappointed with the flavor and don't plan on using it again.

Cajunland + Chackbay is the GOAT.

Does the Chackbay add enough salt when used together, or will I need to add more. Also Cajun Land has a soak add on with "Lemon and Celery." I like adding celery seed to my Zaterain boils, does anyone have experience with this? I bought a pack of that and some Cajun Land liquid also.

Cajunland makes a great poultry rub.

I use a bag and a half of Louisiana Cajun Fire as my base with some citrus (usually 8 lemons, 4-5 oranges).

How could you think that? Cajun land has that sweet maybe ginger undertones. Huge difference.

Ginger is a highly underrated addition to crawfish boils. Bevi seafood in New Orleans puts a lot in there’s and it’s legit.

I think it is enough but I sometimes pour some salt on the bugs while soaking. I honestly can never tell. I’m usually hammered.

Try it without salt and see what’s up. I usually never leave a boil wishing there was more salt. But I’ve left plenty saying that was a shite ton of salt.

When Cajunland updated their recipe 2 years ago they brought the salt content up from 10% to 13% which is right where you want to be 13-15%. It seems like they took something out when they did that though so i now add some Louisiana Fire to the Cajunland. I still think the Zats liquid in the Big jugs is the best liquid. Cajunland base, some Louisiana Fire and Zats liquid plus whatever other stuff you wanna add I think is the best combo.

I use 1 bag of Louisiana and then usually another small bag of something, swamp fire usually. To that I usually add some cayenne, garlic powder, and onion powder.

I tried some of the liquid garlic and onion stuff in place of the extra powders but I find it had a off flavor.

I have not tried chackbay yet but I may on my next pot.
