Arby’s is high

I think Wendy’s is the most expensive. I got the baccinator combo the other day and I think I spent 13-14 bucks on it

Should’ve just gotten the 5 for 5 or whatever the frick it’s called

Mine has classic @ $4.59, double @ $6.19 and beef and cheddar @ $5.39.

You live in one of those blue states?

All fast food is insanely overpriced and if it isn't overpriced the food was shrunk to keep the price down.

Pretty much.

I'll go and get a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and large drink at Bojangles on occasion. That's about it.

They aren't doing surge pricing. They are doing dynamic pricing.

The cost will NEVER be higher than the standard price.

It will only go DOWN during non-peak periods.

But yeah, I believe Wendy's is overall higher than Arby's.

Look at the menu board. They usually rotate the 2 for $6 deals.

Haven't had Arby's in ages, but there's a Wendy's not far from me that I went to after one of my kids baseball games the other night. Don't go there often, but it was on the way home and they were starving. I got 2 big bacon classics, a jr bacon cheeseburger with 1 large and 2 medium fries. No drinks. $29 and change.

One thing I've enjoyed about Arby's is that you can pay a little extra for a larger portion of meat. I believe they offer 3 different levels. At least I don't leave hungry. But fast food has gotten expensive everywhere. I don't see why people aren't brown bagging it to work nowadays.

I think I'll wait to see how this plays out once in place because what they could do is to raise menu prices across the board ahead of when they roll out dynamic pricing. That way, even when they lower prices during periods of low demand, they're only lowering them to what they are currently charging (or would be charging in 2025 without dynamic pricing).

True. For awhile they were offering a bigger French dip that had 1/2 lbs of roast beef on it and it was a much better value than the (too small) regular sized sandwich. I miss that option.

Yeah this. It's a no brainer.

I used the McDonald's app the other night and got a Big Mac, two McChickens, and a ten piece McNuggets for $7.78.

I'm not sure who's paying $16 for a Big Mac or whatever. Maybe people are lazy and just reflexively order the same combo meal that they've been ordering for years and pay whatever for it and Big Fast Food is profiting that way.

Yes I'm a fat arse but that's beside the point.

frick Subway. I don't know how it is around the rest of the world, but here in the burbs of Atlanta, 2 different stores near us have changed out the glass cover over the meats with stainless steel, so you can't see them putting anything on the bread when it's in the open position. 2 different locations, both of those MF'ers put 3 pieces of meat on a footlong sandwich. Never going there again.

Did they put more than that on them before they changed the covers? I can't recall them ever putting much meat on their subs.

Maybe they just installed the metal covers to stop bullets or at least make their employees more difficult to see when the shooting starts.
