Is 1/4 tank of propane enough for a one sack crawfish boil?

Or do I need to exchange for a full tank? I have a 100 qt. pot which I fill just below 1/2, so about 45 qts water. 40 lb crawfish sack.
Thanks
Thanks

depends on the temp of water you start with on burner, preheat water on stove, no problem...

Why people exchange tanks is beyond me. The only fill those tanks to half.
A full tank weighs 38lbs and those tanks weigh 16 or 17 lbs.
Go fill it

Its also usually cheaper to fill it then swap it

What's your solution?
I don't have a way to inject propane into my empty tanks. I also don't have any propane

Do you have a uhaul nearby? They refill. I can refill three tanks for the price to swap out one tank. They fill them all the way. The ones you swap out are not filled all the way.

Goodwood hardware refills tanks but I suspect they’re not the cheapest. I’m not sure if other hardware stores refill.

cheneverts hardware on perkins between pecue and seigon
Ace on Highland rd across from Kenilworth
both around 22-24 dollars to refill it its totally empty. I would personally go with Ace on Highland but they always take 5 minutes to come out there and refill it.

Pretty sure they fill them 75%.

That's where I get mine refilled.
If you read the label on the tanks you swap, they clearly state they are filled to 15 pounds. The capacity is 20 pounds, so the tanks are only filled 3/4 of the way.
I have 5 tanks, so chances are there's always 1 or 2 with some propane left if I get in a pickle.
