You need small red tomatoes. All other boil potatoes suck.

They are overrated. I do like sausage in it though. I went to one once where the guy used andouille and then cut up about 7 or 8 whole chickens....thought it was going overboard, but the chicken tasted pretty good

Slightly off topic, but when we eat at Sushi Yama we get pickled wasabi to go with our sushi and Mrs wick has been putting it on the pineapple Yama provides at the end of the meal and loving it...

hey need to be punctured a bit to pick up the flavor inside the potato meat,
I'm going to try this next time I do a boil.

I almost never eat the potatoes unless they've actually picked up some seasoning inside. Otherwise, I agree there's just too much plain potato for my taste
That's why I cut up half of mine. They soak up more flavor that way.
As far as pineapple goes, I never do it. It just doesn't appeal to me and takes up too much space in the pot.

Pull the membrane off of a slab of ribs then wrap the ribs around the pineapple. Boil then finish on the grill. That's the way to do it.

That sounds pretty awesome. Excessive, but awesome

Why did you bump it then? I disagree btw. It's clicks and traffic. I'm pretty sure that's what drives the entire site, no?

Pineapple is ok and not something I would want to include. Some people like the spicy/sweet combo. My favorite boiler puts in oranges sliced in half. Not to eat but to add a little citrus flavor. They are the best crawfish of anyone I know.
