Are the lunch buffets still a thing post covid, and if so which restaurant does them?

That's a great question. I know India's was not a few months ago, and I tried Bay leaf to no avail this spring... You want the goat, you have to go to Hammond

You can call Swaggat. They did them prior too.
I like it, but I’m not in that area any more so, I’ve only been for dinner over the past year.

The one in Hammond south of the mall is really good. It’s called Punjaba Dhaba. We’ve been twice and enjoyed both visits .

Bay Leaf does it on weekends only now I believe. I tried going there a few weeks ago and that's what the manager said.

Not true. I asked and they said they haven't been doing it since the pandemic and have no plans of bringing it back.

There are no Indian buffets left in Baton Rouge post-covid. The closest one you will find is Punjabi Dhaba in Hammond, which is well worth the drive.
