In New Orleans for the night

Just seeing if there is any must do things or places. My girl and I have a reservation at Brennan's and our friend told us we have to hit up Courtyard Brewery. Other than that no plans, in for all day today and Saturday. Any advice is appreciated.

Don’t cross canal. Uptown or warehouse is where you should bar hop / eat.
Unless you aren’t white. Then don’t cross canal and stay in the quarter, that is where you should drink big beers on the street and eat at a Cajun themed place off bourbon street.

Courtyard is cool, I like it a lot. However...it is mostly outside (it does have a small inside with limited seating), and if its hot as balls or raining, maybe not the best choice.

I think to him all day Tuesday and all day Saturday equal 1 nights stay.

Courtyard has a good beer selection and the positives end there. Terrible setup. Broken chairs outside. No shade. It’s like they didn’t even try to make it a place you’d want to sit and drink.

Why don't you try Hot Tin, the rooftop bar at the Ponchartrain Hotel on St. Charles?

Lunch at Peche Saturday. When done, grab a muff from Cochon Butcher to go. Put it in your bag and eat it on the plane.

Walk down bourbon until you see the rainbow flags.
Get the turtle soup at Brennan's.

I have to agree with you there.

Courtyard was my go-to beer drinking spot for the 5 years that I lived in New Orleans, somehow this was never an issue for me

You broke the chairs as you were leaving. Thanks!
