In-N-Out coming to Tennessee

In-N-Out primarily keeps its Double Doubles and Animal Style fries to the West of the country. The farthest East In-N-Out was established is Texas, with locations in the Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. The chain also has locations in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado.
In-N-Out will begin construction on its 100,000-square-foot office building off Interstate 65 in Franklin by late 2024, with construction slated to be complete by 2026. The eastern territory office will house positions that support various business functions, from operations management to HR and IT, according to a release.
In addition to the eastern territory office, In-N-Out plans to open future restaurants in the region, beginning with locations in and around Nashville by 2026. The Tennessee restaurants will be In-N-Out’s first establishments east of Texas.

I doubt it. Only we get it is if a family member wants to live here. They want to live in Knoxville thus they are getting it

I had it once in SLC and was pretty underwhelmed...especially with the fries.

I'll never understand why a grownup would get all gushy over the opening of some franchise burger joint. Is eating a mass-produced burger that exciting to you?

It's 99% nostalgia. I remember eating In-N-Out in the mid 90's when we went to CA for my Uncle's graduation from the Marine Corps. So when I was in DFW and saw one I immediately had flashbacks and the food in the flashback was amazing. In reality, there is nothing special about the burgers, and the fries are too thin, undercooked, and under seasoned. WHen places like Whataburger, Culvers, IN-N-Out, Raising Canes, Chick-fil-A, Sonic, Freddys, Steak-n-Shake, etc had regions where that is the only place you could find them. People would either have fond memories of nostalgia going back to those places, or had always wanted to try it but never could. I don't get why people have to have "XYZ" every few weeks, but can understand why people would get excited initially for the expansion into new regions of some of the fast food places with cult like followings.
