My wife and I had lunch there (Clearview - only one left) today.

The whole mall was pretty empty and there were 2 vacant stalls in the food court. In Semolina's, there weren't many people either. I think they need to get the hell out of the mall or I don't see them surviving.

By the way, my wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta.

And I had the Jambalaya Pasta for the first time. The jambalaya was delicious!

Both recipes are in the Semolina's Collection at the top of the first page.

Crazy that “chain” was rolling not that long ago and now is down to the last sad location.

We used to go the one on Coursey a lot when i was younger. Was just thinking today I need to get back by Clearvirw before they go under completely

Was at Clearview mall today and texted the wife how empty and depressing it was. Sad.

I haven't been in years. I know they got a lot of negative pub when the young thugs tried to take it over.

Clearview Mall is very close to a complete renovation. Good things are on the horizon.

Many of their recipes can be found online.

I am a fan of their chicken marsala. It's one of the best I have ever had and that includes those fancier Italian restaurants.

My wife’s favorite restaurant, we go often. It’s almost always busy when we go with people waiting. You may have just gone on a bad day for them.

The mall is however a ghost town.

I enjoyed the one they had in Shreveport 20 years ago or so. That was about the time malls started dying.

How many DeAngelo’s are left? Remember how large of a presence they had at one point?

I've found as many as I could and put them in a collection that can be downloaded at the top of the page.

I haven't been in years but that chicken cordon bleu pasta was always delicious. My family ate there/got take out often when I was a kid. My aunt was a general manager for years until the shakeup happened. When the location we went to shutdown we just stopped going altogether.

My best memory of sitting down in the restaurant was in 1997 when my parents took me to see the re-release of Star Wars in theater and we ate there before the movie. I'll have to make a stop next time I'm back home.

That location at Clearview Mall is terrible in terms of visibility. If they have to stay at Clearview because of a lease, I hope they can move to a better location after the renovation.

When Coursey was open, their marsala was the best around. They also made a very good pasta jambalaya too. Too bad a place like Potobello's would rather serve crap that's not even as good as a Stouffer's frozen dinner.

It's not on the menu anymore but my wife asked about it and they made it for her. They have all the ingredients needed and it's still in their system.

Never been to one. I thought they were supposed to be pretty mediocre.
