Didn't Todd Graves, who used to work at Gurthrie's (Athens, GA), just use their exact same recipe and business models?
Guthrie's (now HQ'd in Auburn), started in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965 as a typical southern meat & three place. They began focusing on chicken fingers in the late 70s before opening satellite stores in college towns (Auburn in 1982 and Athens in 1984).

I once got 12 bugs from chick fil a and then stopped at canes for toast fries and sauce. Was pretty good

Zaxby's isn't that great. Now Spankys outta Savannah is the best of anywhere I've ever had all over the eastern seaboard. Nothing like that and the spuds and beer.

For any of y'all that have never had Foosackleys, i apologize because it is the best chicken place hands down. chicken in the buff is way better than anything Canes or Zaxbys could do
