Miller High Life (The Champagne of Beers) > PBR, in the hipster/ironic/non-beer snob beer category.

Indeed. However, I think PBR has made such a comeback that it is no longer hipster beer. Real hipsters despise things that other people do.

old north baton rouge .. my grandfather drank PBR and Falstaff religiously .. he used to grocery shop with a can of either when I was a kid .. lots of personal nostalgia tied to it .. is that acceptable ?

That's is some good beer rag.

I've been all over the St. Arnolds Lawnmower. I can only find it on draft in restaurants though.

I've been drinking PBR since 1999 when I graduated high school. It was 50 cents a can at the local watering hole. Now it's a buck fitty. I go to a hipster bar to hear Larry Keel in North Carolina and they charge me $3.75 for a draft. Da frick?

Seriously. I like pBR over any other "cheap" or "inexpensive" domestic. To me it has more flavor than Bud, Coors, etc.
