I've only had it once, when I was in shreveport. Not the best not the worst. I get why people like it. local pizza places seem to get people emotional about who's is best.
Better than dominos, pizza hut, et al.

I grew up with a pizza buffet called Stevie B's, it was awesome. Idk if they have them outside Georgia though.

Once when I was in Vegas I saw a group of people making Mimosas with Dom Perignon '88. You have even less refinement.

not really a joke. admins run quality reviews on posters here. you probably won't make the next cut either.

Has anyone not from north LA ever tried Johnny's and liked it?

Mediocre is about right.

But I've only tried the baton rouge location.

I only eat it because it's the most homestyle pizza in town, and I eat it about once a month for lunch.

I'd take Mr. Gatti's over Johnny's any day.

The Johnny's in Monroe in the 70's was the best pizza period. Now it is a chain so quality is not the same.

Smitty's Pizza on Mansfield Road in Shreveport has the best thin crust pizza there is and I've had pizza all over the country, btw.
