It's not trolling when it's basically a well known fact that the Johnny's is BR is fricking awful. Apparently you've had pizza from one of the good Johnny's locations, and that's great for you. But you don't to say people are trolling just because they state a truth.

I had some in Baton Rouge one Sunday after a football game this past fall. I head a hangover from hell, but I thought it was pretty good. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was pretty solid. I'd go again.

The Johnny's in Baton Rouge is no better than Gattis. Ordering off the menu. That's no joke. Gattis Monroe is nowhere near the same. If you don't believe me or the others posting go try it for yourself. As y'all are big Johnny's fans this would be Ann embarrassment.
And that is an honest opinion from a person with a fairly good pizza palette. And I remember when he came in here during the early 80's and it was bad then. Part of the reason he didn't make it.

never eaten at the one in BR.
I have though in monroe, ruston, winnsboro, rayville and vidalia.
All of those are/were bad arse.

I've ordered pizzas from both places and can honestly say that there is hardly a difference in quality. I won't say gatti's is definitively better, but I do prefer their deep dish dough. I might think differently depending on the day though.
And a poor man's gatti's is the gatti's buffet. However, I'm not too rich to go there once a year though.
