But it’s just my son and I eating today.
I need expert advice. We could finish it off by Wednesday. What should I do: Refrigerate? Freeze?

If you used oysters, take them out and freeze it.

I does freeze well and if you have that much gumbo, that's a lot of bowls full for the next few days.

That's what I wondered.......in this Bidenomics economy that had top cost at least $200.

If you cooked it Sunday, Wednesday will be fine storing in the fridge for 3 days, however that is a lot of gumbo to eat every day for 3-4 days. its fine if that is what you want.
I would take 3-4 servings and freeze that, and eat the rest as leftover gumbo.

Save it for when Sooners travel to Baton Rouge.

I don’t recall shrimp or crabmeat being any cheaper during Trump.
The last pound of crabmeat I bought this year was 29.99 for lump. Several years ago it was as high as $45.

Put it in a bunch of these and freeze it. You'll have a large bowl of gumbo ready to heat up whenever you crave it.

Not sure the source or date of this picture. I’m seeing prices of half that.
