The last few times I've passed this place it's been empty with what appears to be a few pieces of paper taped to the doors. I assume it's done for, which would be surprising considering it's been open for like a month. Anyone know what the deal is?

My dad lives a few blocks from there and said he heard it was closing.

It always makes me wonder when someone opens a restaurant and then closes after a month or two, were they expecting full tables from day 1? Or maybe they spent too much in development/renovations? How do you not have the funds to keep your business afloat for AT LEAST 6 months, if not a full year? I'm not being a hater, but it just seems strange.

I guess there is a chance it could have had some hurricane problems.

If it was the Doyle guy who opened it, it wouldn't suprise me if he had closed already. Dude seems like a asswhipe when it comes to running restaurants.

Had lunch there recently. Ordered a club sandwich. Hard to screw that up but they did. Just wasn't good.

Said it was due to a fire in the kitchen and they will reopen. I'm sure it won't.

He had one downtown pre-K which never reopened and in the past year has opened 4 locations which have all closed.

Passed by today and it looked open, saw a few cars in the parking lot. Didn't consider stopping though.
