4/10...i watch food network all the time, i cook more than most, and grew up in a family of great cooks (as im sure we all did). but apparently i know nothing about "southern cooking".

Benne is a seed, it is either the same or very, very similar to sesame seeds.Benne wafer is a lot like a praline.
