As mentioned by several others, Stroube's is your best bet. $100 is easy there without booze.

Just giving you a heads up. Roadhouse and you better rub one out before you leave.

Doe's is perfectly fine and if you are not drinking perfectly affordable. Not the most romantic joint but what the hell. I'm 20 years in. I think I gave her a washing machine for our 10th so romance isn't necessarily needed.

26 for me today. We'll take 4 boys age 16 to 21 to dinner tonight. We spent the 25th watching our baby at a 7 on 7 tournament last year. It's all good. FWIW, I'd strongly consider cooking a steak at home with a few simlpe, good sides.

Damn right, ery man's got his breaking point. Go ahead and Longhorn the hell out of it. You should be able to gorge yourself for under 100 clams if you're sweet teaing it.

You know, every time I read this thread title, I think it's a horribly constructed sentence that makes no sense. Then I realize he's talking about the restaurant and just misspelled expensive.. Then I feel like an a-hole and grammar nazi. Okay I'm a grammar nazi sometimes.

Be aware that Does has a policy of final seating at 9:00 pm. Later than that and your service will suck...

I think you should tell her you're taking her to longhorn then surprise her with somewhere a lil more romantic and a place yall have never been before. Maybe arrange to have flowers on yall's table when yall get there. She'll appreciate the effort and a 10 year anniversary should be memorable and special.

Yeah you really have your pick. Like I said earlier, go with Stroubes. Great menu and atmosphere for an anniversary. Doe's is also do-able if yall want something less fancy, more down home and splitting one of thier huge steaks can keep the price reasonable.

and don't make your wife iron the damn thing. Do it yourself this time. These are secrets to making your marriage last another 10 years.

Dress is casual. Slacks and dress shirt or at least a polo. You can get away with clean shorts or jeans, but I'd go with slacks.
