Yeah, I always factor in a few drinks. Without drinks, most places are attainable.

Does is not where I would go for an anniversary, though.

Little village has great steaks. I would probably go there.

we dont drink at restaurants so booze is no problem.

I'm sure your wife is happy to go wherever you want but if you don't dine out at nice places often, I suggest going somewhere more romantic. Little Village downtown has a very well-liked steak AND good-priced Italian dishes. The steak has gone up in price from what it was, but it's still not unaffordable. And your wife might want the Italian dishes instead.

Advice though: Don't order any of the specials your waiter tells you about if you're on a tight budget

And tip well. Not assuming you won't but since I saw Hooters and Texas Roadhouse suggested as 10 year wedding anniversary places, you never know LOL

Like paying Ruths Chris prices for getting a steak at grandma's house is the best I can put it.

Hell if I lived right there I'd be ordering tamales to go a few times a month.

IMO one of the most overrated items on any menu I have ever seen. They taste no different than ones you get out of a can to me.
