So, just finished making chocolate chip cookies.
Do you like a soft center and crispy edge?
I feel like sometimes I enjoy a little burnt edge on my cookie.

Not on all the cookies, but just here and there I crave that taste.

Nice and crispy. Also not afraid of a little burnt.

White chocolate macadamia please

Pillsbury chocolate chip soft and gooey, and piping hot with a glass of milk and/or bluebell homemade vanilla ice cream

If it is a decent size cookie and I can give it a gentle shake or two while holding it on the edge, and it doesn't fall apart, it is cooked too long.

Some good homemade recipes would be a good addition to this thread! I'm always looking for a kick arse cookie recipe.

My wife is the cookie baker in the family and she makes an incredible sugar cookie. Put a little homemade strawberry jam or dab of Nutella and a glass of ice cold milk

I suppose I prefer them crispy. Tried these a few weeks ago and found them very good for store-bought:

Crinkled Chocolate Chip Cookie

New York Times story about it. NYT

Hopefully paywall won't block.

I like them with the ability to absorb lots of milk to become soft if they already aren't. The ones with the soft center and are milk absorbent are the best.

Thick, soft and chewy, with a diet rootbeer.

I bet I am the only person on TD who doesn't care for chocolate chip cookies.
