Microwaved in the cone and served piping hot.

I did not see that option in the OP.

allow to warm on counter. Just before cook sprinkle with weber steak seasoning(or a mix of garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper). Put on a preheated pellet smoker at 300 degrees F. Add seasoning during the cook if needed, since some falls off. Cook to 120, let rest for ten minutes, pair with colonel taylor on the rocks.

I'll take mine cooked by any method as long as its not over cooked. I eat mine rare or med rare.

When I cook myself, I always use the charcoal grill. Get the coals red hot and sear for about 2.5 minutes on each side.

1) Get 3" thick Tomahawk Ribeye season with coarse salt, coarse pepper, garlic, thyme, and rosemary
2) Souse Vide for 4 hrs at 130
3) Heat cast iron up using charcoal to 700 degrees on grill
4) Cover steak in avocado oil.
5) Sear steak a minute on each side with lid closed on grill
6) Wrap in tinfoil with butter for 10 min.
7) Cut and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper

Grilled over piping hot hardwood charcoal

This, med rare. Prime strip or good ribeye.

While I also love one in a cast iron, it hard to replace on a charcoal grill for me.

Sous vide finished off with a nice sear in a very hot cast iron skillet.

Grilled and broiled would round out my top 3.

There's not much that I like to eat more than a good steak. Steak with some grilled shrimp with some rice and green beans would be something I could eat every day for the rest of my life.

Favorite method for Filet/ Ribeye/ Strip:
Let sit out for 30 mins
Salt and pepper
Lump charcoal in a Big Green Egg at 650/700 degree
Drop on cast iron egg grate
Flip at 2 mins
Flip again at 2 mins
Shut down egg close all vents (add optional garlic/herb butter here) let sit for 2/3 mins or until 125 internal temp

Easy Flank steak:
24hr marinade in Dale’s Low Sodium seasoning
Remove from fridge and marinade for 30 mins.
Put 1.5” from preheated broiler in broil safe pan for 3 minutes on each side.

Cast iron on the grill. Hotter and more even with more control with basting and garlic + Thyme or rosemary in the pot.

This sounds like an overcooked steak.

If I have time on my hands, this is my method.

If we cooking hot, depending on thickness, 3 min per side and 30 seconds sear in pan.

It would not be, but could get close to medium. I would take it off at 120-125 probably.
