How do you eat your pistachios?

Crack them open by hand and eat the pistachio?

Throw a few in your mouth, suck all of the salt from the shell, crack the shell with your teeth, eat it, and spit out the shell?

I love pistachios until when I'm almost done eating them and the tips of my fingers are bloody stumps from struggling to open the ones I kept knocking to the side with just the tiniest little crack in the shell

Crack by hand. I hate when there is a tiny sliver of an opening and you damn near break your nails off opening it.

I normally just stick them up my arse. Quickest way to absorb the nutrients

I crack them by hand and pop them in my mouth. I can say I've never seen anyone put them in their mouth like sunflower seeds and go at it, but I'll probably try it out next time

Shelled from Whole Foods, then I roast, salt and season them myself. Takes very little effort.

When I was a kid they were all dyed red. Most were imported too. Now most come from California.
I like to put them in a salad or in a bowl of cream soup like butternut or red pepper. Or of course just eat a bag of them. My mother always kept a bowl of them or pecans on her counter.
