went to a half dozen places from breweries to hip lounges to the hot new fancy hotel in town tonight.
Seems like most places are doing the bare minimum to not make it a hassle for people to spend money at their place. Harrahs was the only place that matches up ID to vax card I encountered tonight.

Eat in the Subway attached to Lowes. You can’t get Covid there so you won’t get checked.
frick LaToya. I would normally drive down for a weekend and eat 3 meals a day at various places as a holiday treat, but the show your papers bullshite has put Orleans Parish on my do not fly list. I’ll just settle for places that may not be as good, but don’t have restrictions, and take my chances with being murdered in Baton Rouge, since it’s a tossup on that between the two.

This Christmas season is the fullest and most normal I’ve seen NOLA restaurants since covid shite came about. Lots are out having a good time. Enjoy

The one on De Gaulle is Orleans, the one in Terrytown isn't.

Private businesses for the most part don't want to be the Covid police arm of city government. Given the CHOICE private businesses would not be the n the Covid business.
