aren't they the same owners?
Yep...it's been over a year, but the last time I was at Bludorn I thought the food was under seasoned and didn't live up to the price tag.
Was more of a see and be seen place...like the Brasserie crowd moved east.

I know we're discussing higher end here...but because I grew up around here...I'm fond of the Goode Company.

very blue collar; not that there's any issue with that, but some people will be taken aback if there expecting a Pappadeaux or equivalent

Goode Company's Seafood Empanadas are great...not a big fan of their gumbo though.
We like BB's gumbo...
Navy Blue was great the one time I went...service was excellent.

Yeah their gumbo is trash…go with the crab and corn bisque.

Captain Brads is great but most of these folks won't be driving to Tomball to confirm.

Really enjoyed Navy Blue last night. Service was excellent. Pricey. I had the crusted baked clams and swordfish. Dessert recommendation was Apples & Eggs (Green Apple Sorbet,
Crème Fraîche Gelato, Siberian Caviar)

My favorite seafood restaurant is shutting down - 1751 just south of the Heights.
Damn. This was highly recommended to me but I never made it. Mistakes were made by this gin and seafood lover. :(

Goode Company.
They make a legit stuffed crab.
They usually have some good cold water oysters on the half shell too.
