Looking for a couple of recommendations for a great burger in Houston. Also we are going to Killens for bbq so I was wondering with all the bbq joints in Houston now are the lines still crazy there. If you know of any place better it would be appreciated. Thanks for any info!

Christian’s Tailgate makes a damn good burger.
Also, I’m prepared for downvotes with this statement, but the deli inside the Smith Street Spec’s produces a burger that is about as good as you’ll find at a restaurant. (Their fried shrimp and fried catfish is pretty damn good too. Beats the shite out of Pappadeaux’s.)
I’ve heard Stanton’s is awesome, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Try Pinkertons for BBQ. They are in the Heights and are very good.

I've had his stuff several times. A couple times at Dan's electro and once at the go fly a kite lounge. Last time being a couple months ago.

Their Squirrel Master burger might be my favorite burger in Houston.

Damn, just saw that. Might be a good thing since Ben's wife started adding all those vegan options in the past 5 years. Needs to get back to the glory it once was.
