I’m curious if they bring back the Hoggy Dollars next year. The electronic wristband payment system can be efficient but there is too much of a learning curve for people to understand. As someone mentioned, Nola on Tap abandoned it after one year.

I did like not having to keep a sack of the wooden nickels in my pocket all day.

If they had additional swap nights to get the wristband, or mailed it to you, then you would eliminate the line for a lot of the fest attendants.

Once you got in the bracelet worked fine. The mistake they made was trying to switch it after selling tickets. But hey, what do they really care? Tickets were already sold & eventually sold out. My guess is they stick with this method but Come up with an expo type thing like the crescent city classic has. Better planning would have went a long way

Only would need to keep the little RFID part if you had money left. You can register your band on the website and get your money refunded less a $3 processing fee.

Just wondering if you can reuse that RFID next year. Did not think about it at the time.

I got drunk and didn’t use up all my money until it was too late. Missed out on some things I wanted to try.

Rookie mistake.

Did you add funds with cash or card? If it’s a card it goes back minus a 3 dollar fee.

That's why we should have never let those price gouging thugs in this market.

Great event as always. My recommendation would be to have a few more swap events throughout the week at different locations. Getting to Urban South on a Wednesday isn’t easy for a lot of people. Or just double the number of ticket booths because that was a pretty long wait to get in. The variety of beer options was also very nice. $5 cans of Jucifer? Can’t beat that.

100% agree. Hope they stick with the new beer vendor. I never got to go into the beer hall tent but that lineup look damn strong. Maybe not have a stage in the same tent in the future.

First time I’ve been to one. We had a hell of a time and ate some badass food. Other than the initial confusion of how the tickets/wrist band were going to work I thought the thing went off great. Had vip passes and got hammered with Tyler Childers drummer. Good times.
