It looks like this place finally opened. It's the place on Jefferson Hwy that the guy painted the huge mural across the front and side. Has anyone been?

I thought it funny they felt they needed to specify that the pancakes were "American style." As opposed to what?

European crepes or Mexican hotcakes, for starters

I don't know anyone who might think crepe or "Mexican hotcake" if the menu had just said 'pancakes' without any qualifier.

Stopped in that Buds last week. I’ll pass in the future. Frozen patty and a stale bun. I can deal with frozen but a stale bun anywhere is a dealbreaker.

I went for lunch a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I agree that their menu is way too big but everything we got was really good. The menu has a healthy/vegan focus but familiar enough dishes to not scare off the less adventurous eaters.

ETA:
Forgot I had this picture of the Hippie Chip appetizer.

It wasn’t an issue when we went. They seemed to have an appropriate amount for their space. It didn’t look like they shared it with any other business.
