Help me pick an air fryer

My better half (no pics) has asked for one for her birthday. She wants one from Costco. They seem to have two nicer options: Ninja two-drawer XL and Ninja XL single drawer.
Thoughts? I have no idea what she wants to cook with it.

On a related note I'm looking for the best smallest one. I did some window shopping this weekend and was surprised how large all of them are.

This. We have the double drawer, and it is awesome being able to cook different things at different temps at the same time but I could never air fry anything wide in mine. I haven't needed to thus far, but it would be nice to have the option.

I am very much not a gadget person (almost never use my Instant Pot, Crock Pot, etc.), but I have gotten weekly use out of the air fryer since we got it for Christmas. The time saved is the biggest plus to me. I haven't found that the food I cook from scratch in it is any different than from the oven, but it is so much faster. Not having to sit there for a 6-10 minute preheat is huge, and then the cooking time is practically in half.
Where is really shines is with leftovers and frozen junkie foods. Being able to bring home fries, mozz sticks, onion rings, etc. from dining out is awesome. I used to waste so much of that prior to the air fryer.

I had one with drawers and didnt like it. We now have one with 3 racks and it cooks much better.

I have a ninja with 2 drawers. I just don't feel like it cooks hot enough.

Hmm. It has been fine so far for me, but I haven't done a ton in it yet either. I did chicken parm last week, and it was fine to me, but it was also topped with sauce and cheese midway through.
Unbreaded salmon, chicken, etc. doesn't come out very "browned", but I suppose I also don't expect it to since it isn't hitting direct heat and I don't oil my air fryer food. For example, traditional baked salmon doesn't develop a crust either unless you put something on it and put it under the broiler.
To be honest, I don't really know what to expect or have a frame of reference because I have never used another air fryer. I was told not to expect it to mimic actual fried food, so I've kept my expectations low

im also looking for an air fryer and am more confused as ever. It seems like the Ninjas get good reviews. But what are the features that are important? Baskets and not trays?

I got the $50 one from Costco a few weeks ago and like it, but I have nothing to compare it to. Did salmon in it tonight and it has come out great every time. I tried some fries that came out ok. Could have been the crappy brand o bought.
