Hell yea, been wanting one of these. Got a purple and yellow for shits and giggles, will likely keep one as a future gift

Thermapens are top of the line so you're fine. I've had a ThermoPop for years and haven't found a need to upgrade. Thermapen users may get a reading a second ahead of mine, but that doesn't bother me enough to upgrade to a $100 unit. Even when the discontinued model was on sale last year, I still passed because the ThermoPop does what I need it to do. Would recommend, especially at that price. Heck, for $20, those would make nice gifts. The only con I can think of is that they're a bit top heavy in a Chef's jacket.
