Had to do a little research to determine if that was the same "Hebert's" as the store near Walker. That place is a huge let down.

Thankfully, it is not the same.

Some good grocery there! Their chickens and stuffed taters are great.

Same spot that Bellue's was in. It's a tough location for some reason.

I rarely post on the Food Board but please know - Hebert’s is legit.

Their brisket (that they do) is not to be trifled with.

I made the mistake of picking up a boudin ball from the Hebert’s place in walker one day. It was a bowling ball size of old grease. Nasty shite. They should be ashamed.

At the Walker place I had a link of the smoked boudin and it was edible. That Boudin ball with pepper jack was horrible.

Seafood stuffed peppers and meatballs are good. And yes the stuffed chickens too.

Agreed. I was really hungry, so it helped with that, but that place was straight up not good. I feel like Hebert's in Walker is what people from West of the Atchafalaya assume all Boudin east of the Basin tastes like.

Hebert's is great. and a great fit for the area in Baton Rouge. The boudin is also good and the turduckens are great for holidays and special occasions.. and those frickin stuffed chickens.. all so damn good
