Long Draw Pizza hit the spot after a long day of hiking in Big Bend.

Oasis in Presidio is the best Mexican food I've ever had. And Ive been back for a second round and it was still incredible.

A tip about Starlight in Terlingua. I think they open at 5. Show up at least 40 minutes before opening, if not you might wait 1.5 hours.

They have excellent food.

No, but you should go check out Hueco Tanks while you’re out there.

Where are you staying in El Paso?

I suggest:

-Elemi (elevated tacos and huge mezcal selection)
-Cedar and Sage (pistachio crusted chicken may be the best thing I've had in El Paso)
-Park Tavern (most solid and consistent I've had)
-L&J's (I like it but that's a controversial take as the locals aren't huge fans)
-Barrio (a little over priced IMO)
-Union Drafthouse (beer and bar food)
-The Tap (bar with very good, simple Mexican breakfast)
-Desert Oak BBQ
-Anson11 (was a little let down but good enough)
-Cafe Central (I haven't been but supposed to be the best spot in town)

The restaurant at The Gage is not good…and expensive as shite.

Brick Vault BBQ is ok…don’t expect Franklin quality but it’s ok for Marathon if you have no other options.

I think there is a pizza joint in Marathon now…and a food truck slinging gussied up dogs on the south side of the tracks.
