I got some from 504CBR to split with a friend.

I’m sure I’ll find it overpriced, but I figured why not? Worth trying based off its legacy and rep.

Put it in your pantry and forget about it for the better part of a decade. Then open and enjoy it.

Not particulary good fresh.

Just found some today. I had my first one back in February and loved it. I plan on drinking one soon and aging the rest. My little cellar (cabinet ) is running out of room.

It’s a good beer. Overpriced but worth having one every so often. Some people say to age it, but it’s strange because it’s supposed to be an IPA. It tastes more like a barley wine. It’s good fresh. I’ve never aged one.

Doesn’t surprise me. The DDH Ghost tasted way better after a couple months, in my opinion.

To anyone that has had both, do you prefer the 120 or Brass Techeticles?

I had a 120 last night. Was it good? Definitely. Am I aching for another one? No. It tasted like a rum cocktail at times.

Brass Techticles is a good bit better to me.

that 8 month old ghost (i think it was july 2017 batch) was in my top 3 beers ever i think. and i've had a lot of the great ipa's from the NE.

I always thought the great neipa's would be best after 3-4 weeks bc that's when my homebrews seem to be best. I have been wrong all along i suppose

120 was the first whale I had years ago. It was difficult to find back then but a beer life changing brew according to the hype. After drinking it I felt like Ralphie when he got his decoder ring.

Brass Techticles, especially when fresh, as there’s zero booze burn and some actual hoppy flavor.

In fact, a 4-pack of Brass Teche for $10.29 vs one 12oz DFH 120 for $8.99....it’s not even close on which one to buy.

Year old 120 on draft was very good when I had it, but I’d still prefer the flavor of Brass Teche.

I want to keep ghost for a few months to test this out, but it never works out that way.

I think I kept a 4 pack for about 10 days after the summer was over before the temptation got the better of me.

Brass Techeticles is great. I still have 5 bottles left.

Couldn’t hurt to age a few right?
