Here we go again. I have to go to the cemetery around Hammond. I'm looking for good eats especially a good burger. We ate at Mariner last time, but want another place to try.

Ryan’s Deli has a great burger. The atmosphere sucks, but food is excellent.

Reports on the Indian food at the gas station seem interesting....I keep meaning to make the drive, but I was waiting for cooler weather.

For a burger, Blackened Brew is probably your best bet.

I'm with you on this. I stopped there a couple of times, this place is nasty. I think there is a rule that every small town has a very overrated BBQ joint that the locals love because they grew up with it. Kind of like Bud's broiler in NO.

Tope La has been our go to when we have to go out there. I want to try that Indian place that this board has been talking about next time I'm out there.
