So, the Cane's of pizza?
There's actually one near my office that has a good deal for small single topping. But I can't eat a whole pizza by myself.

Brooklyn style and the thick crust black box

If this thread doesn’t lure that troglodyte Tulane LSU out then maybe nothing will.

I haven't noticed a change in size, but the price including delivery has increased substantially. I like the Brooklyn style if I order it.

Agreed.
Domino's was great at first back in the 80's-90's, then went downhill till about 6-8 years ago.
Since then, Domino's and Papa John's have been trending in opposite directions.
For a while back 10-15 years ago Papa John's was good, and offered some good deals. Not now.
Also, Little Ceasar's Extra Most Bestest pepperoni thin crust is the shite for $6. Extra grease free with every pizza too!

its fantastic compared to what it was... THey did a helluva job changing their whole product and marketing.

I like that pan or deep dish one. Handmade. I’m not sure what they call it. The largest size is a medium, it comes in a black box, and it cost a couple dollars more. They really have come a long ways for what it is which is chain pizza. Their sandwiches like the philly aren’t bad either.

They completely re-did their crust and whatnot like 4-5 years ago I think. It is much improved. Papa Johns is still may favorite of the big 3, but Dominos is a close 2nd.

My guilty pleasure is the thin crust occasionally. Crispy like a cracker and I like the little squares they cut it into

Back when they put plastic pegs on the pizza if anyone remembers that. I’m pretty sure Domino’s did this.

Same here, use an online coupon to pick the number of toppings, pizzas and pizza size, thin crust is their best

We found the fat guy.
Love thin crust, and isn't so unhealthy in small doses.

This is the type of analysis that draws people to the OT.
Or the F/D board I guess. Carry on.

I like their thin crust pizza, it's not bad at all.

Our Dominoes is a locally owned franchise that 100% supports all the local schools, through gift certificates for kids with good grades to having fundraisers. I have no problem supporting them even though they are a nationall chain.

WTF would somebody downvote a simple observation?
Lots of pizza joints used to use those things, and they all still should IMHO.

I remember getting a dominos pizza when I went to Louisiana college my first year out of high school to be delivered to the dorm.
We were stupid freshmen so we ordered a dominoes pizza with quadruple cheese.
What arrived wasn't edible.
Don't ever try it.

I order with triple cheese. All good.

It is about all we order from a chain pizza place. Occasionally I'll get Papa John's, but Domino's has stepped up. Used to get the hot and ready from Little Caesar's, but the one by the house went downhill, and I could actually get Domino's to the house faster than driving to pick up Little Caesar's. Their pick 2 or more for $6 each is not that much more than LC, tastes better, more topping options, and doesn't give me the massive heartburn.

Back in the 80's pizza hut was so good
Now, if you want pizza similar to what you got in the 80's you have to go extra on everything
If you want to sell me a $20 pizza make it like you used to
