It is, but after having the pork chop bites (it's an appetizer), that and the crab cakes is what I order. The bites are like meat candy, as all sides are crusted. Almost like a meatier, softer cracklin.

Perry's is a place where instead of sitting down for a full on entrée, the wife and I prefer to sit in the bar (especially if there's live piano music) and enjoy several different appetizers. The pizza is pretty damn good too.

How do you prepare it? Is it already cooked, i.e. halfway? Or is it a bring to room temperature and stick in 250 degree oven to warm?

I have to admit I wasn't that impressed with it. I didn't find that it lived up to all the hype. But that's just me. I'd rather a good steak myself.

At their restaurant, it is without a doubt, IMO, the best item they serve. It is also one of the best pork chops I have ever had.

I’ll take a great pork chop over a great steak any day of the week.

Friday $15 pork chop special is the best meal you can get for under $20. Really incredible and more than enough for lunch. Perry’s has good steaks but their pork chops are worth far more than what they cost

We moved to TX in the late 90’s. The pork chop special used to be on Wednesday and they sold it for around $6.99.

You walked barefoot in the snow uphill to get it though.
