I used to see them at Walmart, Rouses and other grocery stores in the refrigerated produce section. Are they still in production, my last visit to grocery asiles I couldn’t find them?

Yep. Used one earlier this week for red beans.

Used some a couple weeks ago. Can't imagine such a useful product going out of business.

Second, use it all the time. In fact, don’t chop my own anymore. Also has garlic in it. Rouses on Clearview in Metry.

People actually use this? I always thought it was like pigs feet, there but no sane person would buy it.

I may have to check again.
Maybe I need glasses.

Winn Dixie always has both.

Rouse's was out of it awhile back. I asked the produce guy and he said that Guidry's is bad with their deliveries.

have never used such mixes as I always chop my own, yet I can see their usefulness in some situations.

I just used it a few weeks back... maybe my pastalaya recipe that much easier

I’ve use it a few times. Usually if I don’t have time to cut the trinity up. But I actually enjoy the prep.

I use it quite often, but there's certain things you can't use it for because it doesn't cook/brown the way it would if you cut it yourself.

I've found the same thing. It just doesn't brown the same. My guess is that it's because of the liquid that escapes the vegetables once they're cut and sit in that tub. It's also got garlic in it, so if you do try to brown it, you run the risk of scorching the garlic.
I have a knife and a cutting board. I'll stick to my own prep. Plus, those few minutes of prep time mean I get another beer or another glass of wine while I'm cooking.

Yup, I only use the onion anymore when I dont feel like chopping my own.
The mix they sell is mostly onion so i quit using it.

Not even close to going out of business. I know the owners very well, and they arent about to close shop with their produce. They make money hand over fist.

No doubt. I wish I'd have had the idea that there might be a big enough group of people who don't want to chop to make a viable business. Those guys have done that and then some. They are almost literally turning sacks of onions into hundred dollar bills.

They still there. I only use it in dirty rice.
ETA.....
I've found this to be the case as well.

I’m no pro chef, but I like to chop my own stuff and make my own proportions.
