Anyone had 2 Sisters Salsa? They are pretty good. Made in my massive hometown in Avoyelles Parish. Ham you tried it/heard of it?

Yea, I've had 2 sisters. It is great and in my top 3 next to jacks and Hell on the Red, however they aren't very wide spread. Can't find it many places, especially over here in Texas.

I love making my own salsa. It's super easy to make and taste so delicious.
1-3 cloves roasted garlic
1/4 white onion roasted and chopped
1-2 roasted jalapeno or Serrano peppers (remove seeds for milder salsa)
2 roasted roma tomatoes
Pinch of cilantro, lime juice, salt to taste
I usually go heavy on the jalapenos and the cilantro.

If at Wal-Mart or Winn Dixie, I think my favorite is Herdez. I normally get this at Trader Joe's though:
Also agree on Wholly Guacamole's Pico/Guac mix...good stuff.

I'm a fan of Casa Manana salsa. It's a restaurant here in Lake Charles that has sub par food, but the salsa is excellent and sold in stores.

Julio's. IMO, it's the closest to restaurant salsa you can get from the grocery store.

Julio's is better than 99% of all other salsas

It's pretty hot, but I am a fan of hot salsas, so I don't mind the burn. I first got it in college 6-7 years ago, and have been buying it ever sense. The Mild and Medium have the same flavor as the Habanero, without the heat. There's also a Ghost Pepper one, but I haven't tried that one.

I'm a big fan of the Zapps salsa. I haven't looked to see if we get it here in Nashville, but we get the chips, so we might get the salsa.

And it ain't even close.
Located in the cooler close to the deli usually.
We have a new leader. Especially like the sweetness on the back end.

Just tried Frontera (Rick Bayless) that I bought at World Market. The jalapeño cilantro version is pretty darned good for jarred salsa. It did well in a Serious Eats tasting.

Julio's is really good, but we only seem to get it intermittently in BR. What I really wish we could get are their chips. Used to load the Surburban with them when I was hunting in Hill Country. Haven't had Jack's, will have to grab some soon.

The Mrs. Renfro line is solid.
However, unless you like god awful HOT stay away from their ghost pepper salsa. It's OMFG hot. The Habanero one posted is pretty damned hot as well. My personal favorite of their hot ones is the green salsa.
