I've been working my way across the shelf at Kroger. The current leader is On the Border.
Which ones do you like?

I'll look for that one. Is it chunky? I tend to prefer smoother salsa.

Not chunky. They have a few different styles, one being chunky. The original is where it's at.

Original is quality. Be careful with the Screamin' Hot. I threw that shite away. Miserable. There's not a ton of stuff that I deem inedible based upon spice, and I found that to be too damn hot. The Special Hot has a robust spice to it, I enjoyed that flavor, but it left exit wounds as well. I assume you understand what I mean.
But I dug the flavor.

There's another local Texas one called flyboys that's really good. It's from Arlington

Simple Truth Salsa is pretty good from Kroger. I eat it with those blue chips that are on the same aisle.

Like other posters have said, Jack's Special also good (I like the Hot and the Black Bean & Corn).

Haven't tried that yet but I see it everywhere. Obviously since it's 30 minutes away. How is it?
