Grand Ma is excellent and tastes great on a chilly night. You can get it for around $35 at Costco.

Grand Marnier is a mix of liqueur and cognac. Cointreau is a liqueur.
You can find cheaper alternatives like Triple Sec or Orange Curacao.
For me, Cointreau is the best and worth the $.

They only put a certain amount of 150 year old in the bottle mix.

Other fruit liqueurs to try:
Chambord - raspberry liqueur. On the sweet side and not very strong. This can be poured over ice cream and is often used in desert drinks.
Limoncello - lemon flavored. Strength is closer to Cointreau than Chambord.

Orange flavored cognac. Every major liquor store and grocery store will have it. It is different from contrieu which is not cognac but is a better version of triple sec, a citrus flavored liquer.

Grand Marnier IS the brand. And it comes in a pretty distinctive bottle with a red ribbon. There is a 99.9% chance you've seen it in your lifetime. It is essentially orange flavored brandy. Often times you find it mixed to make higher end margaritas, sangria, etc. It's not particularly "cheap".
You can drink it on it's own. But if you need an orange liqueur as a mixer I prefer Conintreu. It's not as "syrupy" as GM
