Probably going to make a jambalaya tomorrow night and use some of these ingredients.

Also, after pinky-sampling everything, I must say the rougaroux sauce is essentially Bear Spray. You could put it in a water gun and carry it for personal defense.

I never heard how the LSP shook out. Is he still a trooper?

I don't know what this means. I just discovered his videos this year and subscribed because I like watching people prepare wild game.

His real job is/was a state trooper. He was on a boat that was involved in a hit-and-run on False River (I think that's where it was). He drove the truck away once the boat was on the trailer. That is how I remember it going down.

Blind River. He was terminated/retired. Probably travels and makes his videos on the State retirement system benefits.

While all of that sounds very nefarious, I still very much enjoy his cooking videos.

Did anyone die or suffer serious injury in this alleged event on the water?

I know a guy with just over 60k youtube subscribers and makes enough money from that to pay all of his bills. Stalekracker has just over a million subscribers, so he's certainly bankrolling himself at this point. And now with this line of seasonings and sauces, and it's in Walmart, he's making even more.

one of my superintendents makes the wood spoons and paddles that the guy uses in his videos and sells in his store.

No. It was nothing. Many Troopers have gotten away with far worse but the man has notoriety.

I haven’t bought any of his products but look forward to your reviews. The “gator drool” is the one unique seeming product that I might buy.

The gator drool is something you can sprinkle on your plate, it isn't too hot. It's a smoky jalapeno flavor and it is hot, but not ridiculous hot.

The rouxgaroux sauce, however, is not a plate sprinkler. It is something you put a few dashes in a pot to spice it up, it isn't something you sprinkle on your plate.

I agree. It has a nice flavor. I haven't tried the others, but I don't like super spicy food. Spice shouldn't overpower what I'm eating.

Please post a picture of yourself so we can see what a non-tool is supposed to look like.
