sweetbreads
Veal with bernaise
smoked duck
smoked soft shell crab
shrimp remoulade
I prefer to sit downstairs (main dining room).
I will save the dessert for glass.

I've heard about this smoked soft shell crab. Sounds magnificent.

It is that. TA's suggestions are right on. They really do scallops are well as anyone in town. My favorite apps are the shrimp remoulade, crab salad and sweetbreads. I never go without getting the sweetbreads.
Entree's pick what you like and listen for the fish of the day, usually very good.
Desserts, my two must gets are the lemon icebox pie and the homeade peppermint ice cream. Enjoy.
Color me jealous. I haven't been in almost a month.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I'm looking forward to dinner and I'll let you know tomorrow what I ordered.
I just don't think I can skip sweetbreads.

They are never less than exceptional every time I order them there.

Another vote for the crab salad, definitely.
Stay with Glass's dessert suggestions - and trust me when I tell you the "blackberry sorbet" should be avoided!

Also Poet, they have the most reasonably priced wine list for any upscale restuarant I have ever been to. Bottles that would be 125.00 anywhere else are 85.00-90.00.

My dinner was fantastic. My dinner companion has been going to Clancy's for years and years so he had his own ideas about his favorite appetizers. I let him order.
Sazerac in the bar
We shared an appetizer of oysters made 2 ways
Turtle soup
Fish special - grouper pan fried topped with fried shrimp. He had the veal. I tried it it was delicious.
I skipped dessert. I wish I'd tried the ice cream. At the time, I decided on another drink.
I really enjoyed the neighborhoodish atmosphere and even saw someone I knew at LSU. I can see why people love the place.

No it is not. I really don't know how the name came about. The owners are named Brad and Johnny. I have no clue.
