Maybe you should put down the butterfingers and coke and join the adults once and a while.

That was really hard.

A large popcorn with a ton of butter and a large cherry Vanilla Coke. We also bring along some white cheddar seasoning since that is extra these days. All on my AMC Stubbs card. We go to the movies to check out of reality for a bit. I have no problem not being an "adult" while enjoying my movie.

He was responding to someone laughing about the idea of ordering wine and cheese to watch a movie.
I've done it and it is great.
I kind of prefer the beer and various popcorn combinations better

I try and go with a female and sneak in random snacks in her purse.
Sometimes I'll get popcorn

It is an affliction of mine I think. I can NOT got to the movies without my large popcorn. It feels wrong. If beer is available, I can go with a beer and popcorn.

He also said to join the adults.

It's OK to just call out the pretentious people every once in a while when they make it so blatant.

I was laughing at the idea of ordering wine and cheese while watching some crappy movie like TMNT

nothing more than that

My wife has wine at our local indie theater all the time. I drink beer.

I think I spent $20 (including tip) on my frozen coke and small popcorn the last time I was at Canal Place. I can only imagine what a high falutin wine and cheese plate costs in there. I have no doubt it's top quality though...

I think you have to approach Canal Place as a complete dinner and a movie. It can get pricey fast, but I don't go very often.

I think it's a nice way to see a movie.
