I'd rather order PJ's than eat that Barstool One Bite frozen pizza.

this is legit

I used to do just pep but the ultimate meat is great. Just add some red pepper flakes and basil/oregano.

If I don't want a great thin crust (which you need a good restaurant to make), this is my go-to.

Amy’s is fantastic and my favorite frozen pizza but damn near $10 nowadays

I got a personal pan pizza from pizza hut and some wings a few days ago and it was still good. Ate dominoes not long ago and enjoyed it.

I tried a quest pizza last night and it was good

Dominos pizza is passable if you tell them "well done" and it's $7.99 each so cheaper than the good frozen pizza.

Yeah there is a Dominoes across the street from where I shop and I just cant bring myself to get a fancy frozen for more than I can get a large carryout with 3 toppings. I think their pan pizza is pretty damn good.

I don’t know if it “better” than chain delivery but the Milton roasted vegetable cauliflower crust pizza that we get at Costco is great.
Can’t say it’s better simply because it’s quite different.

Most of you guys are comparing apples to oranges.

You don't get your frozen pizzas delivered so you can't compare it to the price of a delivered chain pizza. You don't buy extra garlic sauce with your frozen pizza so you don't get to add that price on to your delivery fee. You don't buy bread sticks and brownie pizzas with your frozen pizza either...

You can get $6.99 one-topping medium pizzas from chains all day, which is about what you are paying for frozen pizzas at the grocery store.

We order pizza as a family, we keep frozen pizzas on-hand when we know kids aren't going to like dinner, or when we are finishing up left-overs from the week and don't have enough to go around. Both have a role. I'd never choose frozen pizza OVER chain pizza, but there are several that are really good that I enjoy...I think all have been mentioned here:

The Newman's own Neapolitan style is my current favorite.
Screamin' Sicilian seems to be the kid's favorite.
I also like the Costco Motor city, but it doesn't have sauce so I don't call it a pizza. It's fancy cheese bread. (I think it's even advertised as cheese bread)

if we are talking big chain id say mostly yes.

id take a red baron over domino's and pizza hut any day.

i strangely love papa johns for some reason so id rather that over most frozen.

I feel like you're in the DFW area and maybe even around Lower Greenville. Where do you order from?

Man I wish we had one of those here. I've only had it a couple times and it was so freaking good.

I may have to give it another go.

My fraternity brother and one of my best friends is married to the daughter of the founder. They had it at their wedding as the "snack" and I have had it once or twice aside from that. Not very impressed on any of those occasions.

Yea this is kind of my issue. I used to have it delivered but if you want 1 pizza it's more for fees than it is for the pizza.

I agree with your premise that the good frozen pizzas are as expensive as the specials at some of the chains. I also do not think they are better.

However I do want to try this authentic motor city pie. It looks very good

I prefer dominos thin crust to any frozen pizza but we almost always have a couple of Red Barons in the freezer

This right here. I order two mediums for pick up and it’s $13?

When it comes to frozen pizza, the cheaper the better. It’s like a completely different meal than “real” pizza. Like Ramen.

1. Wild Mike's (but only if you ignore their cooking instructions. It says something like bake for 12-14 minutes. You have to leave it in for 19 minutes)

2. Motor City Pizza from Costco
