True. And the store is smaller, so it is easier to get around. Getting in and out is a breeze.

I've been sleeping on FM since I moved to the other side of town. I've been trying to stick to our one locally-owned market and UF Ag store for meat, but I'm definitely getting back on the email list for FM specials. Will probably start doing the little big meals weekly as well!

The one that starts on Wednesday looks good. Breaded chicken cutlet or crab cake sandwiches.

That one is good, but don't sleep on this week's chicken parm.

Also, I don't know if you saw, but andouille sausage is one of their current weekly specials.

May not mean much to you, but we can't find good andouille up in these parts...

FM has a rotisserie chicken and 2 sides deal for like $14.99 I think? My wife gets it occasionally, maybe comes with bread or salad too? I can’t remember. It’s a solid deal though, for good grab and go food at a good price.

I've been wanting to do that one. There's a few like that. On Mondays, you can get two bistro meals for $12. So basically you get to each build a plate with choice of entree + 2 sides for $12 total.

The rotisserie one seems to be even cheaper on Tuesdays:

quote:

Rotisserie Chicken Dinner To Go - $12.99 ea
Serve roasted-in-store chicken with sweet corn muffins and two sides of your choice.

$4.33 or less per person | Serves 3-4 | Save up to $2 ea | From our Deli

Friday pizza deal looks solid too:

quote:

12" Pizza & 1 lb Wings - $10.99
Kick back and relax with tasty pizza and wings to start your weekend.

$3.67 or less per person | Serves 3-4 | Save up to $5.99 | From our Deli

They have two types, and they both go on sale regularly. They have regular crabcakes that are 2 for $7, I think, but often go on sale for 2 for $5. These are decent.

The ultimate crabcakes are a little bigger and are mostly lump crab and have less breading than the regular ones. They are usually 2 for $14, but are on sale right now at 2 for $12. These are very good, IMO.

LL can probably tell you, because she just had an ultimate crab cake with her V-day meal.

Thanks for the reply. The prices are about the same as Whole Foods prices for crab cakes. I usually get Whole Foods lump crab cakes but they are a bit salty so maybe I'll try the FM crab cakes next time.

They were great. I'd definitely get them again. I was afraid the kit came with the regular for some reason, but was glad it was the very crabby ones.

I'll have to get some soon and make a remoulade to go with. I like the pair together.

Fresh Market has been keeping up these meal deals. I really like doing them.

Thursdays are my favorite day to shop there. Each day of the week has different items on sale, but Thursday has the most that interest me.

This week's Little Big Meal looks good too. Good bit of food for $20.
