Burgers look good. I watched Unique Eats the other day and they did fresh ground chuck and ribeye combined and cook them the Julia Child way: pour butter, flip, pour butter, flip, ... Over and over until they're the temp you like them.
I've been dying to try it.
While we are talking about cheese, White American is what queso at Mexican joints is made of and I could eat that forever.

Doesn't look too bad. Not my style of making burgers, but for sure props on grinding the meat at home. Did you happen to take a pic of one of the patties halved or bitten into?

I think I met LL at Bulldog on Saturday night. Was talking to some broad about Dempsey's and Beausoleil then some bro walked up and put his arm around her and dragged her off. Seemed like a very Jonesy type move.

I had the rarest damn burger this past weekend, at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores, plain with blue cheese and about halfway through I thought about taking a photo for the FDB.
The experience was pretty funny, the waitress asked how I'd like my hamburger cooked - and she threw out medium well...I said rare, she questioned, then I said as rare as they'll send it out. Since they were game I stepped it up to the blue cheese option and got it plain. She gave a disgusted face at that request. No shite though, the browned portion didn't even get an 1/16" into the patty. It was one glorious raw burger. I don't normally take pics of my food though so I refrained.

I was just happy she asked how i wanted it cooked. I normally get the dressed version when they don't. I don't mind a cooked burger, but it needs some moisture help with condiments. When it's rare though it doesn't need anything. You have to flip the burger right when you get it since it's been sitting on that bottom bun for a bit. Can't cut them either or you'll have a mess on your hands.
My wife is accustomed to the sight, other diners with us not so much. Gotta keep it facing me.

ETA: Jones was hammered and I had the worst day at work, so I was begging him to stop chatting with whoever he was chatting with so we could leave.
I was sitting where you sat and just walked to grab a napkin and when I came back, you were there so I was kinda sad to lose my seat too
