The best thing I ate was an eggs bendict po-boy, but it wasn't in a booth.

Ate at Stanley after mass, then headed to the fest. The only food I purchased were buttermilk drops.

Fish tacos from Gw fins were great. Beef brisket was good as well but can't remember where from.

Jerk chicken from jamaicain place wasn't too good.

All in all a good time, starting to be a little too crowded though.

there were two different places serving jerk chicken. one was Jamaican (Boswell's) and was excellent. I am guessing you at Bennachin, which is a west african place.

Some notables for me:

-Muriel's Crepes
-Antoine's Baked Alaska
-Boucherie's Roast Beef Pobboy (even though I was a bit disappointed with that half-stale bread) and Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding
-Dickie Brennan's BBQ Shrimp Poboy (though I only had a couple of bites)
-The fact that I did not get the bubbling guts after trying my girlfriend's crawfish bread

My biggest gripe (as it always is) about FQF is that they should have a tent at each of the major venues where there's a variety of mixed drink options. Just some basic spirits and mixers would suffice. Being limited to semi-cool Abita and sugary drinks sucks.

something has to be done about the people that congregate on the walkway over by the river that just sit there and socialize with friends or holler at girls. its a festival, not an event to try and find the next young girl to impregnate.

and i also understand strollers are a necessity at an event like this if you have kids, but you have to be an idiot to try and push one through a thick crowd when there are other ways to get from point A to point B.

Had portions of the Boucherie's slow roasted beef po boy, Jacques Imo's/Crabby Jack's duck po boy, beef debris from Dickie Brennan's, and crawfish louise from Court of Two Sisters. All were good. I heard awesome things about Muriel's. Wish I would have had some
