+1

Great family all around... From what I hear Jody has seen this thread and is pretty excited about it.

Why would you link a site that isn't even working?

It works, its just still under construction. If you put an email address in the box, and send a message, Jody will message you back shortly. He sent me a reply email within 20 minutes, telling me where to find the product.

Works for me.

I don't know if I'd consider that pathetic or just good business. Guess I'll go with good business.

Someone ask him if/where you can find his mix in the New Orleans area.

Not sure about retail, but I'm sure he will ship to you; I ordered from Tulsa.

I sent in a check. I asked about credit card too; he replied that I should be able to order with card via his website soon. I'm not sure about minimal order; I guess the five bags that I ordered met the requirement.

Apparently they sell it in Tulsa at Hebert's specialty meats. He has a facebook page up as well that you can use to contact him. Just search Jody's Jambalaya.

After reading this thread, I contacted Jody and he shipped me some bags of the mix.

The stuff is legit. I have tried them all with Oak Grove being my favorite previously. This trumps that. Not as good as the stuff from scratch, but the best mix yet.

A great guy who is easy to deal with.

He told me the closest place to get it from Mandeville is Hammond. There is an AG store there that sells it.

Better than Oak Grove?

I tried some Jody's a few days ago, and Oak Grove is still better.

Jody's is great and I found one at fresh pickings from Pierre Part that is superb as well.In fact, made some last night while watching the game but instead of water I use stock plus I add a little bit of zing zang to it and man, some kinda good!!!

Haven't had Jody's yet, but my favorite mix is the Cajun Spicy brand from Pierre Part.

Cajun Spicy, that's it,the "HOT" version which really isn't so hot..........just good.
I usually alternate the two, like them both.

They must of sold out, that is where I got mine, it was at the front of an aisle in a display rack, not where the rest of the mixes are
